Nicole Interview

Nicole Scherzinger is getting surprisingly reflective in a new interview with The Independent, in which the 34-year-old former Pussycat Dolls frontwoman confesses that she wishes she was "more slutty" because it might have helped her career.

When talking about her sexually suggestive duet with 50 Cent, "Right There," she says, "With these kind of songs, I don't feel I have to justify myself to anyone. I come from the most religious family -- my grandfather is a priest -- and if they support me in all this, and they do, then I'm OK. I'm being sassy and classy; I'm having fun. I'm not coming from a dark place. To be honest with you, I sometimes wish I were more slutty. I'd probably be a lot more successful if I were."

To make it in the industry, Scherzinger claims, you have to "sell your soul to the devil."

And has she?

"No, I haven't. That's probably why I haven't quite reached the top of my mountain. I mean, where's my Tony Award, my Grammy, my Oscar? Why don't I have any of those things yet?" she asks.

In the candid interview, she also reveals she was instructed to lose weight the moment she joined the Pussycat Dolls and became increasingly self-conscious about her body. She ended up battling bulimia for more than a decade.

"You know, I didn't have the confidence to go around in all that lingerie," she says about that time. "I'm a crazy bitch now, of course, and I'm all over that, I love it, I embrace it. But back then? Back then, I wasn't comfortable at all. I'd never worn stuff like that in my life."

Though she says she's glad she eventually revealed her eating disorder secret on a VH1 documentary, she also admits she was initially embarrassed about it.

"As soon as I did open up about it, I regretted it. I felt humiliated, I didn't want it to be screened. I didn't want the world to see that side of me. But now I'm so glad they have," she says. "The impact I've had on other sufferers is just ... I can't tell you, it's so amazing. That I am now in a position to give strength, and support, to others ... It's awesome."

Fifth Harmony News

Fifth Harmony spent last night recording their debut album together in LA, after all meeting up together for the first time since XF. The girls spent the day before with Demi Lovato performing in the grand opening of LA's new TopShop. They tweeted multiple pictures from the studio last night and announced that they are working with producer and writer, Julian Bunetta, who worked on One Direction's new album, Take Me Home, writing and producing the hit songs, 'C'mon C'mon', 'I Would', 'They Don't Know About Us', 'She's Not Afraid', and 'Loved You First'.

UPDATE:
They didn't stop with Julian Bunetta, they have now been working with Sam Watters, Michael Biancaniello, August Rigo, Toby Gad, and Ali Tamposi.

> Sam Watters is most famously known for being in the 90's boy band, Color Me Badd. He produced the groups biggest single, I Wanna Sex You Up, which reached #2 on Billboards Hot 100. After the disbanding of the group, he went on to produce and write hit songs including Natasha Bedingfield's Love Like This, Kelly Clarkson's All I Ever Wanted, The Saturdays' Missing You, Jording Sparks' Battlefield, and Zedd & Matthew Koma's Spectrum.
> August Rigo isn't a producer but a writer, and a damn good one. He has written the famous songs of One Direction's Gotta Be You, Justin Bieber's Stuck In The Moment & U Smile, Iyaz's Solo, Cheryl Cole's Better To Lie, and Sean Kingston's Party All Night (Sleep All Day).
> Toby Gad is probably well known enough. He has worked with some of the biggest names in the game. He has done tracks such as Beyonce's If I Were A Boy, Demi Lovato's Skyscraper & For The Love Of A Daughter, The Veronica's Untouched, Cher Lloyd's Dub On The Track, One Direction's Taken, Selena Gomez & Pixie Lott's We Own The Night, Fergie's Big Girls Don't Cry, Kelly Clarkson's Einstein & The War Is Over, Selena Gomez's Bang Bang Bang & A Year Without Rain, and many many more.
> Ali Tamposi is less known, but not less credited, she recorded a video with the girls today, she has worked with some great artists as well. She worked on writing Kelly Clarkson's Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You), Christina Aguilera's Empty Words & All Around The World, Cher Lloyd's RIOT!, Beyonce's Save The Hero, and Ciara's One Woman Army.

After performing "Heart Attack" for the first time at an Orlando concert on March 2, Lovato will tour Asia in the second half of the month. According to Snow, the "Heart Attack" music video will be out sometime in April. The label has yet to set a street date for the album, but he says it will expand Demi’s appeal beyond her core, primarily teenaged "Lovatics" fanbase. "It's going to be a very consistent record in terms of its feel," Snow says. "Even though she's only 20, there's certainly an effort to broaden her demographic."
